HELP, PRAY, how is everyone doing on practice exams?

Published

Hi All,

I have been doing horrible on the practice exams I have taken while preparing to take the AANP. My test scores range from 60 - 70 %. I have taken several different ones. Barkley, Apea, Fitzgerald. I took the AANP 75 questions and only got a 60%. I been studying for over a month. I did the Fitzgerald live review, read and studied all of the material in book and online from that. I have read and re-read the Leik book and have been doing the test questions in the back of that.

Has anyone else had issue with the practice exams and still passed the real exam?? I have to take the test really soon and my job is waiting on me!! HELP. PRAY, suggestions, guidance????? My anxiety level is off the charts and I am scared to death to take the exam!!

I keep making in that same range also. Set to graduate in December. It's scaring the crap out of me too (and I have a new Lexapro prescription to prove it).

I keep trying to remember that 86% or so of the people who take the exams pass. I have the Hollier CD's and plan to listen to those a few times through along with Leik and tons of practice questions.

YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!

I know it's been a while since you posted, but how did you do? Could you please offer some advice? I am taking my exam in 2.5 weeks. I took a APEA practice exam yesterday and I got a 78%. I plan on taking the AANP cert. practice exam (50 questions) next week. Thanks!
