Hi, i recently graduated from Duke's FNP program. Initially, i had the option to do the on campus fnp program, but quickly changed my mind after talking to people who did the distance-based program. I do not regret my decision one bit! The professors are dedicated and are great educators. Duke is awesome and it has prepared me well! i am not well versed on the acnp program, but i'm sure its excellent! PS: sry for the typo's.. Im on my phone!!

Thank u for the advice. I am actually getting a massage tomorrow :) You are right... I need to erase the negativity and just relax. Praying will certainly help. I have a job waiting for me so I think that's why I am anxious! As of now, I have completed reviewing hollier's Cd's, APEA Management qBank (consistently scoring in the 80s/90s--at the end), and Leik questions one time (I got high 70s). At this time, I am going thru the Fitzgerald 4th edition book and doing the Fitzgerald Comprehensive online (75 question) tests after each section. It's a lot of material, but I think Dr. Fitzgerald is an excellent educator and I am learning a ton! I did not do the Barkley Review. I hope what I am doing is enough!

Question-- did you use the Fitzgerald Comprehensive Review at all? ( I know you did not list it on your post). Just curious, I am finding that material harder than APEA. Thank you. Your post is very helpful.

Hi! how did you do on APEA's Qbank? Did you purchase the bundle pack or just the management one? I am taking the exam in 2 weeks and getting a little anxious. I am scoring 70s-80s on the qbank (150 questions... I know they are repeated). I scored a 78% on the predictor exam. I hope to pass and can't wait for the chapter in my life to be done!! :)

I know it's been a while since you posted, but how did you do? Could you please offer some advice? I am taking my exam in 2.5 weeks. I took a APEA practice exam yesterday and I got a 78%. I plan on taking the AANP cert. practice exam (50 questions) next week. Thanks!

Apply to Duke University. It is a great school. They do require the GRE if your GPA is lower than 3.4. However, I knew a few people who got in even though they had a 3.0. Good luck.

Yramsco, Congrats on passing! I bet it feels good :) I take my exam in 3 weeks and I am starting to get a little anxious. How did you study the last few weeks. I know you said you exhausted majority of your resources. But what study source helped you the most to pass? I am using Leik, Hollier's APEA QBank, and Fitzgerald's book. A few months ago I did the Fitzgerald Live Review. I greatly appreciate any advice/tips! Thank you!

Thank you for your post. Did you take the AANP exam or ANCC? I am taking the AANP exam in 1 month. I am studying hard, but getting a little anxious too. Did you study from the Liek book at all? I think that book is also very helpful.

IhflanurseNP, MSN, NP, Thanks for the post. I am consistently doing better... :) I agree---I think understanding the material is important as well as knowing WHY i got it wrong is just as important. I go through all of the right and wrong answers until I completely understand them. Thanks!

Hi everyone, What is a good score to get on the APEA Qbank? I am taking the AANP exam in 1 month and I am getting nervous. Right now I am getting scores in the high 60s to mid 70s (with an occasional 80%). Not sure about these scores, but overall my scores are getting better. Thanks!
