I am a newly R.N. in Philippines and I just moved here in Winnipeg, Manitoba. I haven't actually practice my profession as a nurse cause we have to migrate here in Canada.
I have a lot of questions to become a R.N. here in Canada.
Actually I really don't know what to do.
Some people told me to write the CRNM Exam but some says i should take up another 2 years of nursing...
Help me please!! what should I do...
I am currently working as a H.C.A.

I think you need to contact College of Nurses in your province. Every province in Canada works differently. In Ontario, you should have had 16 years of education (12 elementary/secondary & 4 college years or 10 elementary/secondary {like in the philippines}, 4 college & masteral).
If this is the case, here you have to go back to school. They call it Bridging Programs for Internationally Educated Nurses. Program is 1 or 2 year long, depending on the school you go to. After that's completed, you'll be ready for licensure exam.
It's different here, unlike US where our curriculum is equivalent.

You cannot work as an RN until you pass the Canadian licensing exam and have a visa from there that will permit you to work.
Same way that you cannot work in the US without a US nursing license and a visa that will permit you to work. Any country requires licensure and that you meet their requirements for licensure. The exam is always the final step in the procedure. So no license, no work as an RN.

Okay.... would you please just put one story on here... you are jumping all over with your stories... you to can go back over your own postings and see for yourself...
If your going to go to Canada, you will not be able to work as an RN until you complete the accreditations needed there. Canada is a separate country and have their own regulations and requirements as any other country in the world. On one of your previous postings you stated that they were toooo much in Ontario... well if you want to work as an RN you must comply with the requirements. So you need to decide what your going to do and decide if you want to go back school and take more courses.
Your postings are all over the place.. I thought that they place where your working is so perfect with all the perks and incentives they offer. Why would anyone want to leave there? Especially if you have friends coming from the Philippines in April...
If you have been in the USA for 5 years what kind of Visa are you on... it does not take 5 years to adjust to a greencard.. If you are not an American or Mexican citizen you can't get a TN visa. Two and Two don't make 7 it makes 4...
If your going to give advice to others, please read and learn from the people who have been on the site and know (at least be sure of what you post, mistakes can really mess up peoples lives)
Canada is a beautiful place, it is a wonderful place to live, but they do require you to take courses to get the RN designation... nursing in Canada has a different focus and requirements from the USA. Just like when you wrote NCLEX to work in the USA....
You need to follow Canadian rules, just like the USA you must be registered to work in the country.
