Dont listen to your friends saying 5 years experience is required, they are not the Nursing Board of Victoria. If you submitted your application for registration as Overseas Qualified Nurse, wait for the Nursing Board's assessment.

Oh thanks for the info! If ever I'd qualify, do i need to retake the entire nursing course there or only a bridging course? I've been asking around, some say I need to take a qualifying exam for Australia, others say I need to study there because our curriculum lack units, I've been also hearing that I only need to take up the bridging course. Which is which? Thanks...:nuke:

Moved to the International forum as per new rules asking immigration questions to be posted in the International forum leaving local forums for local issues.

Much has already been posted about bridging courses try a search. If you have little or no experience then you are probably looking at a requirement of completing a bridging program

There is a bridging course that you are required to take for about six months, it is not an entire program again.

And the qualifying exam is the one that you need to take to get licensed there, same that you would need to do for any other country when you wish to work there.

Much has already been written on working in Autralia, just take the time to do a search here for the threads.

thanks much for your help! =)

You are quite welcome.
