i believe that the person who said schoolcraft college and oakland community college do have the lpn programs. there are several schools that offer the nursing program. i was going to occ but transferred to henry ford community college because they do have a waiting list where occ does not you basicly have to finish all pre reqs before you can even apply. what are boces??? well good luck with your move to detroit, and nursing!!!

Many of the schools that offered LPN programs are no longer around. Several of the community colleges do have them.
Schoolcraft would be my first choice........ :)

Well, from your response I guess they only have Boces in New York State. Boces is a trade school here. They offer programs that you can get a certification in. Such as CNA, Cosmetology, Dental Hygienist, Cdl license and an LPN license. Most of the programs you can do part time for 12 months or full time in 10 months.

Well if you are talking more on the lines of CNA there are plenty of schools where you can get your certificate here. I know the school i am going to Henry ford community college offers CNA classes. That is in Dearborn. Well hope that helped you a bit.
