HELP! New RN trying to get into NSLIJ-Huntington....

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew what hospitals have new grad RN programs and are hiring? I'm having trouble getting a response that they have at least received my faxes and emails. I would like to get into NSLIJ-Huntington- does anyone know if they hire new grad RN's-what time of year, is there normally no response even if you fax your resume and email?

Find the HR number and ask to speak to Ann Doodian (RN). She is the nurse recruiter for the ENTIRE NS-LIJ system & isn't in the office that much because she is also responsible for fairs and other off site activities. You kinda have to become a squeaky wheel to get attention.

I think, but not 100% sure, that Huntington takes new grads; but, you would have to do your initial orientation with a group made up of all new grads from the various facilities & go to the training facility in Melville (if I recall correctly).

I just wanted to say thank you again for your reply, however I called Huntington and Ann Doodian, RN is no longer there. I have already sent my resume to Janet Milanese. I'm not sure if there is anyone else I need to send it to. If there's any help out there t would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

hey i just sent my resume to janet milanese as well for the FTE Ortho position. Which position did you apply for?
