help new requirements for nclex

hi i just reapply for nclex rn in cali and they told me i have to give them a copy of my ssn card, clinical cases and rotation handbook? i took my nursing in the philippines

please help me where can i find this thnx

same here kbayan i thought retake will be much easier now unlike when applying for the first time..:(:crying2: ..i havent send my reapplication to CA BON yet..I was quite confused when our other kabayan kulot posted that CA BON are requiring additional requirements..:confused:Im hir in cali too(anaheim)what about u?..:)

Yeah its pretty much understandable :) don't sweat too much, the school should know what to send :)

To "kulot"..hi!. i graduated 2009 and I already submitted my clinical rotation sched/or student logbook reflecting dates, instructor's signature and location of clinical training completed to CA BON which they also asked me to submit before.... it is the same as the requirements they are asking you now or a different one? I had my first attempt of taking the exam 2010 unfortunately i didnt pass and planning again for my second this dec or jan. i'm really confused of the new requirement u stated....

To "kulot".... I see thanks..... When you first applied to CA BON they did not ask you about those requirements? Anyway, yeah your school must have a copy of your clinical rotations and the handbook which was signed by our clinical instructors when you have your duty to hospitals... Your school will be the one to send it to CA BON... goodluck...

How are they taking advantage? Here, schools have to get accredited by BON to teach nurses, they just want to make sure your education is up to par. I'd even venture to say that they probably believe it may not be because you have failed twice. Sorry, but there's always hoops to jump through for the BON, for anyone.

@JD RN yah i know right, its just so late to ask me for more paperworks because i taken the exam twice already but rules are rules so just follow it, same in the philippines school have to be accredited, it just sucks because i have to wait for my paperwork so i can take the test again

@ kulot just wanna ask when was the last time u took ur exam?its very confusing coz when u first apply for the exam the school must submitt d summary of clinical and theoretical instructions coz its part of d reqs.bon needs right? so why they allow u to take d board in d first place if u lack those reqs.before:confused:and now they're asking for another one:confused:Oh my I just want to take d board w/o any hassle at all...:crying2:

hi anyone also apply for lvn how lvn application works do we need also rotation and cases?? thanks

Call BON to forward your paperworks at Board of nursing LVN,then mail BON 30$ for the processing fee.then Download the form at board of nursing lvn and also have a live scan

Maybe the evaluator who check hes paperworks didnt really check his paperworks or they may be misplace hes paperworks.things like that.

@ mstcatalina did u send ur reapplication form too?did they ask for more paperworks reqs.?:confused:
