help new requirements for nclex

hi i just reapply for nclex rn in cali and they told me i have to give them a copy of my ssn card, clinical cases and rotation handbook? i took my nursing in the philippines

please help me where can i find this thnx

What i did is, i scanned the letter they've sent me (the one that lists the additional requirements) and had my mom (in the philippines) print it for me and brought it to my school. They (my school) then, completed the additional requirements that the Cali BON asked me to submit and mailed it to them (Bon). After a few months, i got my eligibility and can now take the test. :)

@amb23 does the letter that they send you once you bring it to our school they will understand what to put in there meaning the additional rquirements for reapplication coz im scared my school might be confuse what to send..:(does it have the title additional requirements?is it detailed?...:(

hi kabayan,me too will be taking my 2nd attempt so it means another waiting period for the reapplication..i thought it will be just easy coz its just a retake,but i was wrong its just like requesting for another requirements from our school and waiting again...:(

Hi! :) really??? how long have you been waiting? :( where are you currently residing? r u here in cali too? i haven't sent the reapplication yet :( i thought it wouldn't take that long since i took it before :(

Yeah its pretty much understandable :) don't sweat too much, the school should know what to send :)

No they didn't give me a copy because the school should be the one who will send it to BON. its a School-Bon Business haha :) Rotation Handbook and Clinical Cases are the ones you did while in school. Ex: Hospital rotation( when, where and hours, who is your clinical instructor that time etc.) Clinical cases are the cases you handled [ OR (Scrub, suture, circulating etc) and DR (actual, assist, cordcare, etc).

is it like course description in RLE?

yup i think it have to be in prc format with the signature of head nurse, clinical and dean i think hopefully we can resolve it because i graduated 07 and i didnt bring the cases, it such pain in the @$$ hehe

can be.. im not really sure because what they required of me are my RLE duties like the aforementioned above :)

You don't really need your cases because the school should have a copy of your cases :) the school schould be the one who will mail it to them, not you :)

yup thats the rotation handbook i just got a call from bon and i ask them what is the rotation handbook that the places or hosp ojt, and the clinical cases are the prc format cases i think its 25 cases
