HELP! New grad, can't find job in COLUMBUS, OH!

U.S.A. Ohio

Published

Hey there guys!!

So I am a new grad, and I will be moving to Ohio sometime in March. I already have my temp permit to start working in ohio. I have my ADN and will hopefully be starting my BSN in the Fall of this year 2014. I've been trying to look for a job in the Columbus area of Ohio or the outskirts (anything really). Got a call from OSU hospital stating need that BSN, which I understand A LOT of the hospitals are turning magnet status, same thing goes for the hospitals here in Florida.

I was hoping if anyone could help me out possibly knowing of any place that is hiring new grads that will take an ADN? I've applied to a few of the main hospitals and haven't had much luck :( I'll take ANYTHING, Nursing homes.. whatever it may be! HELP!

Also Advice on how I should approach this is welcomed, I'm open to ANYTHING!

Thanks everyone!

You'll get more answers if you post this in the Ohio forum.

Try the long term care care facilities. U will have better luck. Gud luck to you.
