I am just so excited!!:balloons:
I am going to be graduating very soon and put my application in for grad positions next year.
I recieved a phone call today saying I have an interview on the 11th Sept for a grad position at my local hospital. (well they actually rang late yesterday afternoon, but I was so excited and the by the time I calmed down, no one answered as they had finished work LOL)
I am a sole parent so I am unable to move to look for a position elsewhere, and we only have the 1 hospital locally.
Anyway, HELP, I haven't been to an interview for about 20 yrs!!!!
Any hints and tips would be greatly appreciated! Is it alright to wear my clinical uniform to an interview, (I will be on clinical placment on the day of the interview)
I was told yesterday by a new grad from this year that they will ask something about 'benchmarking', anyone have an idea of what this is?
The lady also said thismorning that I had been 'short-listed for an interview' what does this mean (I guessed it meant that I had a good chance), and is it something they would say to everyone?
Sorry if I am rambling, but starting to panic, I am just so desparate to get this job!!!!

I don't find out until the first of October!
I is the only interview I am having too, I can't move and it is the only hospital in my area.
So if I don't get that, I spose I'll go look at the nursing homes.
