Each state has their own requirements and process for licensing so being licensed in one state doesn't always mean you will meet another state's requirements. This means for every state you live in you have to meet requirements and have a licensed issued, only exemption is not having to resit NCLEX if already passed

I just left FL in March. I was an LPN in FL with no health insurance, lousy pay and working only part-time in LTC.

I am in the process of getting my LPN license accredited by NYC. I was wondering if anyone would know if once I have the NYS LPN license is that also valid for FL or must I go through the same process as one changes states. Maria, montreal thank you.
