i did mine on "the nursing shortage" and how it is affecting patient care!
Thank you! I guess I'm just wanting to explain something to the audience. Like....This is how you...or something! I think I may do Why cigarettes are harmful to the body. Do you think this sounds ok
that would be great; you could do it on different reasons, the side affects of the cigarettes, the addictiveness of cigarettes etc we had to do an eulogy to an object; I did mine to cigarettes; I quit 1/2 way though the last semester and found out less than a week later my father in law had lung cancer. so it was a great eulogy and I finally believed I could do it this time!
Congrats on quitting smoking and thanks for your help!

Pick a topic that you really love. Something that interests you. Teach the class how to do something that you do well. There's got to be something that you enjoy doing or a topic you're fascinated by that you can share with the class.
When I took public speaking, the class was full of young men women. I taught them how to pick out a good diamond... most of them will be in the market to buy one in the fairly near future. I remember one girl taught us how to make her favorite cookies. One person did a presentation on the importance of motorcycle helmets. One person did a speech on Wicca. Those are all that are coming to mind.

I did a speech on a little yoga routine to help you "de-stress" :)
My informative wasn't your typical informative speech. Our instructor made us bring in an object and we had to talk about a different use for it - we were not allowed to talk about the object's actual use. His example was using car keys as a weapon for self-defense because 1) they can do a lot of damage, 2) everybody has them and 3) easy to carry/conceal. I did mine on using honey for wound healing.

It's been a while, but I think I did my informative on breast cancer b/c my sister was/is suffering. Then again, maybe I did it on making monster mash cupcakes, lol. Is the informative speech the one where you show people how to do something or is there and instructional speech too?
**ETA** Nevermind...I looked it up, my informational was on free trade chocolate and cocoa(0;
