Hi....just wondering if anyone has any original ideas on what to write about for my Nursing leadership/management class. I can't think of anything interesting and original with enough resources to write about. Would really appreciate some ideas.............Thanks...... :uhoh21:

I did a paper recently on family presence in the ER during codes and invasive line placement. It went well. There is a lot of info out there too.
Thanks........but I did one similar to that last semester. I think I might do it on nursing stress/burnout. Not sure yet.

How about whether or not a charge nurse should be taking a patient load, and if she does, do her patients get adequate care?

What about the correct way to introduce change into the workplace? Tim Porter-O'Grady's article "Profound Change" is always a great topic http://linkinghub.elsevier.com/retrieve/pii/S0029655401572541
Or shared governance? Differences between leadership and management? What is the best leadership style for nursing? Horizontal violence in the workplace? Just a few thoughts...

I did mine last month on Nurses' Unions. I found a ton of information and I was the only one who chose that topic. After the 2nd day of hearing the same topics presented over and over it got really boring. Just an idea if you want to try it.
