Help for NCLEX-RN exam

Published

Hi! I'm international nurse from Greece and i'm planing to take NCLEX-RN exam. But i'm not sure about study materials. I've already bought Mcgraw-Hill Rewiev for NCLEX-RN exam. Is this book enough? Can anyone tell me what kind of questions are using on exam? And to which questions i should pay more attention? Anything you can tell me will be a big help. Thanks in advance.

Practise plenty of questions and read the rationales. Questions can be on anything and hard to predict. You could also check out the NCSBN website as that will tell you all about the exam and how it works

I am also an international student, if you don't mind , how long have you been graduated from your school of nursing? for me it really matters, bec if you graduated long time ago more than ten years, you really have to start reading books of nursing again and again...(i used Saunders, Lippincot, Mosby), but if you just graduated from a nursing school it is still fresh from your mind, the nursing subjects, process, diseases etc...you may practice Q and A 100-300 q's/day. I did kaplan online the q and a ($300.00) for 3 mos. and NCSBN ($50.00) for 3 weeks before my exam, i passed the exam, i guess it helped. PRAYERS the most important, God Bless! and Good Luck!.......

Thanks a lot! I've graduated 1 year ago. I was wondering how easy is to find job after passing the exam? By the way do you work? If you don't mind which country do you from?

not as easy as it used to be, if youre international, obtain a work visa. dont expect to get a job immediately, i have cousins who are international and have licenses in CA and NY, and they are having trouble finding jobs
