so my situation is a little weird. i graduated from nursing school and took my boards in aug of 2009 from a associates program. I could not find ANYTHING!! i dont mind not working in a hospital because i definitely dont wanna b picky. So I moved with my husband (we had only been married for a wk!) in october of last yr to texas to work. at first i did dialysis but REALLY did not like it at all so transfered to postpartum. I absolutely LOVEEEEE my job! However, my husband could not find work out here and was pretty depressed since he wasnt working and his old boss was BEGGING him to come back and gave him a big raise for it. so nows hes back in nj and we are both HATING it!!! I have NOOO family or friends here and I am very depressed i am almost making myself sick. so if anybody knows or works ANYWHERE in the ny, nj, or eastern pa area that would hire me with 7 months postpartum experience PLEASE let me know!! im willing to do per diem and part time anything really. Like i said if its not in the hospital that is fine but I would really like to stick to mom, baby, peds, teens area. i would even consider a juvenille corrections facility and would love to do community nursing or dr. offices and clincs, crisis, adolescent mental health, addictions. I am even willing to travel to upstate NY up to an hr away from the city. ANY info would help!!!
thanks so much and God bless!!!
PS- i am very greatful for this website, lots of useful info.

I don't have any job leads, but want to send positive vibes your way. Get a resume made and start sending them out to any/all medical places. There is a place there just waiting for you.
I really love using "Pongo" for my resumes, if you need a recommendation on that. Find out when there will be local job fairs etc. Check with the unemployment office for leads. Take a class at a local college and check out there job placement services. Check with the local blood bank. They are always running ads in our area.
thats a good idea i will def do tht!! thanks!! :)
