I'm sorry,I take my test Monday and I am soooo freakin out. I feel like I dont know everything I need to know. I feel like I should go over more meds, labs, procedures. I dont know. I have soooo much anxiety that im hoping it doesnt effect me test day. Please anyone, should I feel this way?? Should I stop worrying, because whatever happens... happens.? This past week I havent been able to sleep at night. Can anyone make me feel better please!!!! Should I be stressing so much?

Stop worrying! I took my test by thinking that it's only a practice. I didn't worry at all. The night before I took pills to sleap and slept for 8 hours. I took my time and was choosing the best answer- 4 hours for 150 questions. When computer shutted down, I knew I failed but I was glead that I got the experience and Inat least next time I would know what to expect. By luck- I passed!
The mane think is not to worry and take your time for each question!!!!
GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!

I know how you feel, although I don't take the NCLEX for another 2 weeks. I feel like there is still so much information I don't know. But to be honest, I think it's impossible to know everything. Having said it, I find it to be extremely frustrating since in nursing school (at least at my school), we knew exactly what topics were going to be on the exam and for the most part as long as you studied from the textbook and knew your notes you did fairly decent. It's just so stressful to go into a test and have no clue what they are going to ask you!! I was talking to one of my friends who passed the NCLEX a few months ago and she advised me not to sit there and memorize everything, that I should just go in there and hope for the best, take your time with each question and if you don't know the answer start by eliminating the choices you know are not correct.
Good luck!

I know EXACTLY how you feel. I take my test on tuesday and each day my anxity keeps going up more and more! I've been reviewing my brains out for the past 3 weeks it seems like. Each day I take a subject at a time, and i've heard TO study the day before because you may miss something that makes the difference between pass or fail. I'll be studying the day before but quitting around 5 or so and TRYING to relax. I know I won't sleep monday night or be able to relax tuesday when leaving! I'm ready for it to be over!! Good luck to you!!

I didn't let myself get too worked up over this test. I did many Kaplan nclex style questions to prepare. There is no telling what meds will show up on the test, so you don't know what to study. Just make the best educated guess you can if you don't know the answer. I went in the test that morning feeling very calm and relaxed. It wasn't really as bad as I thought is would be. Goodluck and don't stress about it!

There is no way you will ever be able to know it all. And NCLEX isn't really about knowing it all either. It's about applying the nursing knowledge that you have gained in school. And you will be able to apply it. Trust yourself. Deep breath. It's almost over, good luck!
Thank you all sooooo much for your comments. You have made me feel more at ease. I am going to try my hardest not to worry. And i will let you know how I do. Please send good vibes and prayers my way. Thank you all. I am here for you if you all ever need anything. :redpinkhe

I like the idea of thinking its just practice.

Yes, we always knew what topics were going to be on the test. And I could always tell how I was going to do by the first question. If I knew the answer, it was not going to be difficult. If I didnt, I was screwed. How I soooo wish I was studying for a test from school. LOL!!! I guess nothing great comes easy!!:loveya:
Good Luck to you!! Let me know how you do and I will post as soon as finish mine.
