Help with LVN to BSN route in California

Published

Since ADN program waitlists in California are just too long and impacted, I'm thinking of going LVN first. My goal is to at least get a BSN, so I'm wondering, is there a good choice of LVN to BSN programs in California? Is LVN to BSN tougher than ADN to BSN? Are LVN to BSN programs more or less difficult to get into? I'm just now looking into this, haven't done research on it yet. Thanks.

Why not just apply to a lot of BSN programs and see what happens? LVN and ADN programs are impacted, too, and LVN jobs are getting fewer and further between.

Casting a wide net when applying to schools is smart. I haven't seen a lot of LVN-BSN bridge programs, but lots of ADN-BSN programs. I would apply to every ADN and BSN program you would consider attending. Worst comes to worst, you are turning places down.
