HELP!! Lehman college Nursing program 2015

Im so worried! I took my hesi today and my over all grade is 88! I study for anatomy for almost a month and i only got 76. I passed it by a point. this is annoying! but my math and reading was high which pulled me up to a 88. i think 88 in not enough to guarante my acceptance also my gpa! my prereq gpa is 3.8 and my cumulative gpa 3.6. Im applying for the generic program. Im really nervous!Anyone from the program already knows if my grades are enough in order to get into the program? It is killing me! anyone else applied??

Called this morning and surprised someone answered. It usually goes straight to voicemail. She sounded very ambiguous. "Sometime this week or next week." I asked, will it be by mail or email? She said "mail." I said but some have already received acceptance emails. She then said "I guess by mail and email". The only sure thing she said was "no later than next week." Well go figure lady... The end of next week is basically July :no:

No mail today, no email either. Impatiently waiting over here haha..

Congratulations on your acceptances chrissyby1 & Glowinthdark, I am still waiting for my decision for the accelerated program...

In the mean time would you sign up for a Facebook Group that I created for Lehman Nursing students? None of the Lehman nursing related groups is active, I'm hoping that we can all share information and discuss topics that benefit all of us.

If you can't join, or there's no sign up procedure, please let me know.

So I just got an acceptance email saying I was accepted into the generic program, not the accelerated program.

I called the office and they said that means I didn't meet the GPA cut off, even though I have 4.0.......

Waiting for the chair to get back to me on that now...

Update: So I just got off the phone with the chair...

Apparently they didn't look at my grades from Lehman... but looked at the non-equivalent courses from Stony Brook.

The reason I took everything in Lehman is because those courses cannot be transferred since their curriculum are NOT the same, only the titles are similar. The "Microbio" I took from Stony Brook transferred to Lehman as a 400 level course, that's why I took Bio 230 in Lehman. (I also included the transfer forms to show exactly that...)

Apparently they didn't realize I took everything in Lehman and averaged in my other grades from 10 years ago... now I have to wait until the end of the week to find out what they decide to do with me...

Just got my email at 4:38PM that I have been accepted to the Generic Nursing Program (what I applied for)!!!!! Ahhhh.. so happy! Best of luck to you!

Just for any future applicants, GPA: 3.912, 1st Hesi: 84 (but failed A&P) and 2ND Hesi: 88! :nurse::lol2:
