Im passing a kidney stone!!!!! I am a 21yr old female and this is like my ummmmm 9th time to pass a stone in the past 4 years.... and this is the first time I am trying to do this alone. I had a KUB done yesterday and my right kidney is loaded with small stones and I have some pain medication from my dr, but OH MY LORD IM IN PAIN.... i didnt want to go to the ER and still dont... but im about to die.... i have drank at least 6 glasses of water and i cant seem to urinate.... the dr assured me that the stones are small enough to pass but my GOD I WANT TO DIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have the feeling like I need to urinate, and have had that feeling for the past 5 hours but just cant do it..... ANyone have ANY suggestions that might help make the pain any less???? Thanks!

All I can say is that I am "lucky" im passing one this week instead of next when classes start back up....

Pain meds, which you need to go to the ER for.

Hello, Jezziemis,

PLEASE go to the ED and/or contact your PCP now. We cannot advise you for it is against the TOS of the site to offer medical advice.

I know these are VERY painful and you need treatment from your healthcare provider.
