HELP!!!! Im an LPN and cant find a job!

It always seems like wherever you go, you will hear that there is a nursing shortage. But yet, Ive been searching for a full time job for months now to no avail. Im not sure what the problem is. Ive been an LPN for over 4 years now and have been looking high and low. There are more jobs for medical assistants because they pay them at lower rate and then train them to do the job of a LPN. It seems like the LPNs role is disappearing. I even know of many RNS who come out of school and cant find a job either. This is very bad especially when you invest time and money into school thinking that you are guaranteeing yourself a secure career and that has not been the case in florida.

I just now got a job doing private duty LPN home care. How is everyone else doing? Anyone else having any luck finding LPN jobs?

I just started at an ALF and I like it hopefully will be able to go to full time before to long
