So I am Aussie, I just enrolled in nursing. Last year I was doing a health science course and changed to nursing this year because it is something I wanted to do.
after reading a lot of posts and watching youtube videos of what actually happens in nursing school. I just found that a little overwhelming. I feel like I am not smart enough. Trust me I feel like I wouldn't even know what I will be doing when dealing with patients and giving out medications. Maybe because I am young and awkward and quiet. I recently turned 19. But If I was a little bit more mature and older I would be able to deal with it.
I really love working with children!! I was also thinking of doing Speech pathology. But I don't know what to do with my life anymore.
I already changed to nursing from another course. Ugh, I feel like I made a mistake.
Someone pls give me some advice?
do you think I should do speech pathology or nursing?
My nursing school is going to start in 3 weeks. I am terrified.

That's a really hard question for strangers to decide. Have you shadow any nurses or volunteered at a hospital? If not, then I don't think you have a good basis for deciding it isn't for you. Maybe look into doing those things in the next few weeks. But really, I would begin nursing school and see how it goes! You can always switch later if you truly find it isn't for you.
