CVS is strictly for NY and is not used for any other state. It is a service that is provided by CGFNS and for foreign graduates that wish to work in NY.
What you are speaking of is the Compact License that is valid for the states that are part of the Pact. But if you are moving, then the compact part of the license becomes null and void as well and would only be valid specifically for the state where it was issued.
You will need to obtain a license for each and every state, and if you are foreign trained you will also need to meet the additional requirements that the new state will require.
You will also be keeping the license in the state that issued it to you until it expires if you do not renew it. You just need to use the License by Endorsement application for the new state.
