Help with 2013 Hesi exit exam

Published

Hello!

I am a nursing student who was set to graduate on June 9th, 2013. In order to officially graduate, my school requires us to pass the Hesi exit exam. Unfortunately, I did not pass the Hesi the first time I tried taking it (I missed the cut-off by about 60 points). This really took me by surprise because I was a very good student throughout all of my nursing classes. Since then (it has been about 2.5 weeks) I have been doing mostly Saunders review with the areas I did weakest in, and recently started using yourbestgrade.com. I am scheduled to retake the exam this coming Tuesday the 25th and I'm not sure what to think. I am confident because I am doing very well with Saunders, and so-so with the hesi study review website I mentioned earlier. We get 3 chances to take the test but I want to make this the LAST time I ever take the Hesi again. I was told I am going to be taking Hesi Version 3. Does anyone have any other study tips or pointers to help me feel like I am going to pass?mN and all advice would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I saw keep at it how you've been studying. Make sure to read rationales for both CORRECT and INCORRECT choices. I know you don't have much time left, but when I took mines in Jan (scored a 1045 first try) I wrote down the incorrect rationales and studied them. I used hesistudy.com (which I think is part of the yourbestgrade.com), but I didn't score over 900 but probably on 3 of the tests.

Awesome. Good to know that it's possible. Thanks so much for your response :)
