I am taking the Baton Rouge Community College nursing admission exam in March. I have been studying for months and I am very nervous about the test. If anyone has taken the test at BRCC, I would LOVE some help. I have the book and I have studied it nonstop for months now. We only have to take the math, vocabulary, reading, and grammar part of the HESI. If anyone has taken the HESI and can give me some advice on how to prepare for the vocabulary section, I would greatly greatly appreciate it. I am so nervous, I literally never stop thinking about it. Any tips or help would be so helpful. I have a 4.0 and I really would love to score at least a 90 on each section of the test. The amount of people applying is so outrageous, and it makes it very competitive. Thanks for the help.
thats great girl!! im gonna be praying for both of us. this will be the longest 2 months of my life. im trying to find other people that are applying to see what they got. i found a thread on this website from last year and people with lower scores and GPA's than us got accepted. So i hope the same thing happens this year. i think the number of classes taken at BRCC has a huge factor on being accepted or not. we have to stay in touch! we are both patiently waiting to find out the news.

I found that same thread. I believe the lowest gpa from last year was a 3.1. The classes taken at Brcc holds the most weight, then the gpa, and Hesi scores are last. Are you taking a&p MW 1:30?

yes I've been told the same thing. GPA, then # of classes taken at brcc, then hesi.
I am taking a&p 2 MW at 1:30!
But I see some people with really high GPA and HESI score that don't get in. I'm just super nervous.

I'm nervous as well. The waiting game is very nerve wrecking. I think we have a&p2 together.. And a lot of people that didn't get in, most didn't take all of their classes at Brcc.
