I'm applying at Carrington and unsure why the ATI link was sent to me as a prep for entrance of the program along with Wonderlic and other links. I know that ATI is for NCLEX prep so probably sent to me just to have it? Don't you do ATI throughout school? And to get acceptance into the program don't you just need to take a compass? I wasn't told anything about a teas test what exactly is covered on that? Thank you

ATI is the company that issues the TEAS entrance exam in addition to modules for all nursing subjects:
Adult Medical Surgical
Fundamentals (RN and PN)
Pharmacology (RN and PN)
Maternal-Newborn (RN and PN)
Nursing Care of Children (RN and PN)
Mental Health (RN and PN
Community Health (RN Only)
Nutrition (RN Only)
Leadership and Management (RN and PN)
We had an ATI exam for each of these classes plus the Comprehensive Predictor for the NCLEX exam.
So you think I will be testing for teas exam and a compass does that sound right? I'm just finding out what the ATI and teas tests are sorry if they're dumb questions lol.. But it does make sense to take ATI throughout school
The ATI exams were required for each class. It gave us an idea if the material that was being taught in class matched what was being asked for on the ATI exam. They also gave us "real world" practice taking NCLEX type exams. The school used them as a tool for accreditation, to show that they are teaching to a certain standard.
