It is a BSN not bsh. Unless we are talking about two separate degrees...and you would have to tell me what a bsh is.
Anyway, no one here can answer that question. Why? Because nursing programs vary by school and by state. What may work in Jacksonville, FL won't necessarily work in NYC or LA.
Generally......
You figure out where you want to get your BSN. You look into that school's requirements for program entry. Ignore the "minimum"s because you will never get in with the min score. You need to MAX it out as best as you can. Once you know what their requirements are, then you can plan what you need to take at your CC.
You then need to check whether or not your college of choice has a waiting list. That could put a year or more gap into your quest for your BSN.
Even in 1983 (the year my sister got her BSN), it took ~5 yrs from start to finish to get a BSN.
Most nursing programs have required courses taken each term and in sequence....so you cannot alter the pace. Besides, there is a HUGE volume of information to learn that trying to cram it in a shorter timeframe would be near impossible.
If you are in a hurry to get your RN, your CC most likely has an ADN program. You can get the ADN, take the NCLEX (pass it), and get your RN. Once you have the RN, you can keep progressing by attending an RN-BSN program.
It's up to you and the schools in your area, your grades and your entrance test scores. Good Luck!

Depending on your study habits and how much you handle, people I know have done it in 2 years with there general education + transfer units. But I think the average is 2.5-3 years total before getting into the nursing program and another 2.5-3 years to finish the program. So about 5-6 years is probally the averge. And remember, you also have to pass the board so that could be half a year to another year or so.

it depends, It took me like 2.5 years to finish my GE and an additional 1.5 to finish my pre-reqs (this includes summer as well). I finished everything in 3.5 years and just applied to a couple of CSUs. Technically it will take me 4 years since in California you can only apply every fall (as least for now) , so this semester I am just taking 1 really boring, stupid class.
It would take you probably 3 years to transfer to a program. I switched majors in between so that added on about an extra year.
