Please Help! I've taken the NCLEX-PN twice now and failed both times. I have paid to take it a third time but have yet to actually schedule. I don't know what to do to prepare myself. Every time I've taken the test I feel like I've been right there. I know I only missed it but a mere few questions each time.
I've always been a crammer when it comes to testing. I don't really know good studying skills. I did well in nursing school but crammed then as well.
Oh, and I'm a year plus a few months out of school. I probably need an update type course but as far as going to a class that is impossible for me right now. My husband is home with a broken leg and out of work for 4-6 months and we have two young children. Does anyone know of any online groups that help??
Need to pass the next time I take it. I feel like such a failure. Any...ANY!! advice would help!!
Thanks all!

Dont worry about being a year plus out. I just retook the NCLEX-pn because I let my licensed expire in 2000. I have been out of school since 1991, so if I can pass so can you. I think you can go to the local library for some of the review books, if not try to find somebody close who has them and borrow them. I dont know where you are but I would be willing to give you mine. Once you have them just set some time aside everyday. Give yourself a reasonable goal, like 2 hours a day Monday- Friday. Answer the review questions , at least 50 a day. As you get closer to test day increase the amount of questions to at least 100 per day. Try to get the discs that go with the books so that you can get used to answering them on the computer. Learn your lab values and learn to prioritize. You'll be fine, just dont panic.
