Don't be ashamed! Plenty of us take the NCLEX more than once.

I failed the first time too and recently just passed on my second attempt.

I basically reworked my approach to studying this time around. Take a look at the letter pearson vue sent you and see what areas you were deficient in so you have an idea of what you need to focus on.

I ended up using Hurst review and i do not regret it at all! I was able to answer many questions using their approach because I knew the core content behind the answer. This may not be the case in your situation, but I know core content was what I really needed to consolidate on. With strong knowledge of core content I really feel that I could answer most questions confidently.

Last time my problem was that I was too focused on trying to pick the right answer without knowing the core content behind what it was actually asking.

I also used La Charity Prioritization, Delegation and Assignment. That book is crucial and I highly recommend you really study it! It really helped me.

I also used NCLEX 4000 a little but not much. I put my faith in the review I chose and really concentrated on one instead of last time time where i kind of jumped from book to book to review.

This is what helped me pass, we are all different in our approach to study and what works for us but you can do this!

Good Luck!
