Hi! I am working on my prerequisite classes right now.....I will need to take 2 classes together either this semester (spring) or in the fall. My question is, to those of you who have taken these......would you recommend taking Intro to Bio Chem together with A&P 1 or would you recommend taking Microbiology and A&P 2 together?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.....Chandra

To me A&P 1 was tougher than 2. I am starting micro next week so can't help you out there. I would probably take A&P 1 by itself and pair the other 2 together. At least so you get the feeling for A&P and be more prepared and relaxed in part 2.
I am sure many will come that will feel differently, so ultimately you are to decide.
Good luck!

I took A&P I and Chem together and I took A&P II and Micro together. It was a lot of hard work but I did well on everything. I think that anything can be done if you study hard and realize that it will be difficult before you go into the situation. School is not easy but you can make it as easy as possible by being prepared and having good study habits. Good luck in your decision.
Oh, and I also forgot to mention that I will be working full time as a teacher while I'm taking these classes! (I don't know if you think that will make a difference!)

It can be done if you are willing to make time to study for two science lectures, plus two labs and working fulltime. If you can discipline yourself, you will have no problem. A&P1 is lot more challenging than A&P2.
Good Luck

You know yourself better than anyone. Since you have already completed college, you are already familiar with the discipline required. Of course, it can be done but I think it depends on you and also what kind of grade you are looking to end up with. I have taken all of those classes but I did not take my biology classes together. Maybe because of that I was able to get As in all of them. Good luck.
