HELP! BVNPT question

Does BVNPT also concerned concurrency?

Featured Replies

Officially yes they are as per the BVNPT website however there are no recent reports of BVNPT enforcing the concurrency regulations.

YES, the BVNPT does have the concurrency requirement and as JustBeachyNurse mentioned it's not being enforced or known to have been applied to current applications or those in processing but that does mean the BVNPT can start at any minute, any hour, any day, any week or month or year.

So the word to the wise is to get in your paperwork as soon as possible because the day they start to enforce the concurrency rule, CA for many international applicants will be locked out and can remove CA from being the "easiest, cheapest and quickest" state.

Here's the direct link straight from the BVNPT website:

It now says as one of the disclaimers: " Indicators that the program may be unapproved or cannot be deemed equivalent: Lack of concurrent instruction of theory and clinical practice.

Thanks for reply everyone! Im kinda worried to retake again (IF i fail the nclex-pn/lvn) since i experienced the CA BRN denied my eligibility when i reapplied to retake the nclex. Thats why i wanna know if BVNPT are like the BRN. I just wanna know if there is an international graduate being denied when they reapply to retake the nclex-pn/lvn.

Yes, but I think they're not strictly enforcing it not like CA-BRN.
