Good afternoon, how do you do? I am the nurse of the man in the second after I graduate from nursing school. I went to school with working in the mental department from the time of the student. It works in that hospital at present, too. Recently, I want to change profession. I want to experience nursing of other fields though I don't know whether it is the age that it can change profession at present at 24 years old. I want to work. It will get a bonus next July, and it will retire from the mental department. It wants to be a friend with the person of the conditions like me. It is happy if I can receive mail.

Hi, Kenshi!

Of course it is not too late to change specialties! I am 31, and I am a nursing student. If I can start this late, you can certainly change directions if you want to. Good luck! What would you like to do, if you decide to change specialties? Whatever it is, your psych nursing experience will certainly be useful.. :)

There are few situations where we are truly 'too old.' I am quickly approaching my 47th birthday and am preparing to go to nursing school..in two or three years! Obviously it will be a change of careers for me, one of many twists in my 'professional' life. The bottom line is, it is something I have always wanted to do so now that I have the opportunity I am going to go for it. I may not succeed but at the end of the day I will have done my best, all that any of us can ask. Best of luck to you in whatever you decide to do!

Graduated nursing school at the age of 35, my second career. Never too late! My mother just started a new career at the age of 67 (she just got ordained as a minister). Follow your dreams!
