Nov 15, 2014 I just want to challenge the NCLEX-PN exam,while working my papers for NCLEX-RNIf I am not mistaken, I believe that California and Virginia are the only two states that allow foreign-trained RNs to challenge the NCLEX-PN to become LPNs/LVNs. I am not sure that the Illinois Board of Nursing allows this, although you may want to call or email them to reassure yourself with the final answer.
