I start the nursing program sept.17 I am already very nervous and anxious. My school requires me to get health insurance..Does anyone know of any cheap insurance plans. I am located in fl.Also in the nursing Program they have us take Kaplan tests for every midterm and final for each class. Is that every nursing program or just my school and does anyone have any suggestions on studying or what to expect on these test.Thank u for the help..
Insurance generally isn't cheap- do they have a group policy for students? You might find out on your first day.
I thought you could buy Kaplan test books......maybe wrong- but check Amazon (better price than school bookstore, usually).... other NCLEX study guides would be similar- but a LOT of what's in there isn't stuff you're expected to know now- and could be discouraging... see what the instructors suggest :)
I use a company called Student Assurance Services. It's an inexpensive supplemental/accidental insurance for college students provided through my schools health department and it is sufficient for the nursing program. I'm not sure of the exact website but you should be able to pull it up through google. Good luck in the nursing program!!!
Thank you all for your help.I did ask the school and they do have a person who helps with insurance..It cover nothing at all but i guess it will have to do...and I am 21 but my mom passed away and my dad dosnt have insurance either and will not help anyway...ive been on my own since 16 so Im basically doing all this with some help..thank you all for the info
