I applied for an HFEN position in California. I interviewed 6 weeks ago, wrote a follow up email a week after my interview and thought I didn't get it. I found out yesterday that they contacted one of my references, and today they contacted another. Both of my references (former supervisors of mine) think I will get the position. At this point, do you think I have a good chance? The interview went really well and I know my references had good things to say.

How was the interview process? I'm thinking of applying and wanted to know the process? Also what types of questions did they ask?

In was a panel style interview & they asked multiple nursing related scenario questions (ie what would you do if you encountered x, y, x). They also asked about prior job experience ie "describe a time when ..... happened.” I thought the interview questions weren't super challenging if you have nursing experience. I feel like it's the way you answer that will get you the job.
