Hi everyone!
I have decided to take Human Pathophysiology while I wait to start nursing classes. I am planning to take the class online, as the only in-person class is a four hour lecture once a week (I imagine myself having a hard time sitting through that). Does anyone have a professor they really liked that they took HCR240 online with? My Maricopa options are Phoenix College, MCC or PVCC. Thank you to those who respond ?

Hi! I’ve taken that class. However it was with chandler Gilbert CC located in Mesa. The professor’s name was Cathy D. She really is a great instructor. I don’t think our class was 4 hours if I remember it correctly it was from 12-3. However, she made it fun and time flew by quick. I know your looking other schools but that was my experience.

I haven't taken pathophys yet, if you haven't taken other science courses online I might encourage you to do that on-campus. I have plenty of online experience got my Masters in applied behavior analysis 100% online, but I'm now going back and have so far taken Nutrition 240 at MCC (online 5 week course over the summer) and am currently taking Bio 156 online (at Rio) and having to do the labs and understand all the coursework has been very challenging. And this is with me having previously taken a non-science nutrition class and this being just a general bio class, but I've taken A&P and Micro about 10 years ago in an on-campus program. Also, I don't know how the nursing program is within the Maricopa schools, but when I was in nursing school 10 years ago back in IL, we very frequently had long lectures going 4-5 hours, so it might be good to start to build up your attention stamina before nursing school starts.
