HCC Houston Spring 2014 Applicants

I know it's a little early but I submitted my application today for the Spring 2014 ADN program at Houston Community College! Who else is applying for the Spring 2014 start?

I signed up for the same time also! I got the email this afternoon. I can't believe it's all finally happening!

Ok. I tried to find the syllabus last night and it did not pull up when I went to my class schedule. Where did you find it located? I want to go ahead and start shopping for books.

There is no syllabus yet for the fall semester class yet. The most recent one is for the summer 8 week course that's wrapping up this week. Assuming we end up using the same books as the last class it'll be Pharmacology: Connections to nursing practice 2nd edition by Michael P. Adams and Carol Urban. We also need the Pearson Mynursinglab access card as well as METI eDose (Drug dosage Calculations & Learning and Assessment software).

We should probably contact the professor first though and make sure there are no book changes for our semester.

Yes that's the same book, access card, and software we used. If you buy a new book (still wrapped) the access card comes with the book.

So far whenever you are tested in calculations it'll be through eDose.

Don't be surprised if they don't notify you until 3 days before school starts. They've done it before.

But hopefully they let you know soon.

That is a good possibility. I turned mine in back on June 12th.
