HCC Coleman Spring 2021

Hi I was trying to see whose all applying to HCC for Spring 2021. I couldn't apply for fall because I needed Micro.

Has anyone not gotten the conditional letter? I haven’t gotten it I just got am email reminder to submit my immunizations a couple days ago

when reading the letters pay attention to the words. The letter of intent said “initial requirements”. The second final one explicitly says final permanent acceptance and gives you dates for orientation.

no body understands that the initial acceptance is for EVERYONE that meets the minimum 3.0 GPA and other minimum requirements. From there they compare applications and cherry-pick permanent acceptances. That’s why you  receive the letter of intent accepting you into the initial stage, then if your application is competitive you’re accepted permanently/officially.

well ? I guess I didn’t get in then LOL. but why would they make the deadline on the 13th if that was the case???

If you didn’t get it then you probably weren’t conditionally accepted. @Jessie2021 got it as well.

Like I said it’s an acceptance ahead of time, they vary by competitiveness, it says I’m officially accepted and all I need to do is finish my requirements by nov13 BUT if I don’t, My spot will be given to a wait list student.

 

THIS DOESNT MEAN YOU WERE DENIED, it just means some students were accepted ahead of time but they need to finish their requirements or their spot will be revoked.

interesting because on the email they send out reminding you of the items you need to have completed by the 13th, or also says that we will be notified by 5 PM on december 16th of our admissions status. do you by any chance know how many people they send the second conditional acceptance to? and how many they accept after?

Well it varies by competitiveness, conditional acceptance usually means a student 100% meets qualifications and is accepted but has to still complete immunizations and such, these are probably sent to students that had competitive applications, the other form of conditional acceptance means that a student has poor academic grades and has to meet certain standards to be considered a regular student such as foreign students needing to maintain grades to stay at a school.

Usually conditional acceptance is only to certain students ahead of time, you can still get accepted at the normal deadline

I didn't submit anything about CPR card , immunization records, clearance card, health insurance card or physical examation form, but I still received the conditional email.

I just checked and I received email about being conditionally accepted. Congratulations to whoever else received it as well ? But for anyone who didn't receive it don't let that worry you, it doesn’t at all  mean that you’re not getting in.

did they email your student email or personal?
