Hello, I was wondering if anyone was accepted into the program? I was accepted, but they only gave about a week and a half to get everything together and it's stressing me out since the papers they e-mailed are quite vague in what they want.

Any help?

As far as CPR goes- GO GET IT NOW. You don't have to wait for the school to offer that. There are LOTS of CPR centers in the greater Houston area, you can get it today, if you wish. I'd do that, just to be safe. Do you have your shot records? Have to started your Hep B series? You may need to look into doing the accelerated version of that of you haven't started it, some nursing schools require you have the entire series before beginning clinicals..

Yes, I am taking a CPR class tonight. Shot records are completed, all my Hep. B is done, I had received a titer.

It sounds like you're good to go. I've heard good and bad things about San Jacs nursing program... I did all my pre-reqs through them, but the horror stories of their nursing program scared me away enough that I was prepared to drive to Texas City for their ADN/LVN program had I not gotten into the BSN program when I did. FWIW- from when I applied it was 2 months to find out I was accepted into nursing school, and then it took them another month to send details ... so this isn't completely shocking to me. Maybe it's a Med Center thing.

Hello! No, I called Ms. Johnson twice to see when they'd send it out via e-mail or by snail mail, and she said we just have to wait. Even if it's past the deadline, she'll make an exception as long as we have a receipt of it. Have you gotten everything else done yet? I have done my CPR, getting my physical today, and probably doing my drug test tomorrow. Then after that I just have to wait for the background check. Also, have you uploaded any documents to Castle Branch yet?

Oh okay, that's one less thing to worry about then! I still need to get my physical and i'm trying to get all my shots and titer done by this week! I haven't uploaded anything from castle branch yet. The lady I spoke to in the office where I picked up my my papers said we have to wait for an email to be able to upload our documents on there...? I slightly confused by that. Do you have any ideas how to use castle branch?

Oh and the uniforms, Have you bought it yet?

The physical form is extremely confusing!! It says "Attach lab report" on the shots, but uh. Is that only for the titers? If I've had all my shots done, do I need to do that? I'm going down to Coleman to see Ms. Johnson tomorrow at 11 ish. So I can get everything straight. Did you receive an e-mail? I registered for Castle Branch already, it's basically a way to securely upload documents and it's a package deal so when you purchase the ability to use Castle Branch, it also allows you to be authorized for the drug test. And it'll tell you when you can take your drug test (it takes 24 hrs) so do that immediately! I haven't purchased my uniforms yet, I'm going to go ask her about that tomorrow. Do we need to preorder? I have no clue. I'll PM you my info so we can text instead.

I have all my shots too, but the physical form said to have the MMR, varicella, and hep B titers as well, so I went ahead and I got those done, just in case.

I still haven't received anything from my email... ugh. I just emailed you btw!

And I'm so confused about how to use Castle Branch, the letter says use code "see attachment" but I still haven't received any codes??
