Hi everyone, I am currently taking prereqs for the ADN program at HCC. I am almost done with my associate's so I can do a BSN program as well, but my focus is HCC. I know it's kind of early but are there any HCC fall 2020 future applicants? HCC's deadline is strange lol I have everything completed this Winter, but because the deadline for spring 2020 was August, I'm too late to apply.? It's ok though because things always happen for a reason! I just pray I get in! My ADN PROGRAM grades are as follow:
AP1: B
AP1LAB: A
AP2: C >.> ? NEEED TO RE-TAKE LOL
AP2 LAB: PENDING
MICROBIOLOGY: A
MICRO LAB: A
ENGL 1: A
HUMAN GROWTH: A
Psych: A
I have yet to take the HESI because I'm not done yet BUT my projected completion day will be around January.
I will update in spring 2020 when I am ready to submit the application! ?
Question: Do I HAVE to re-take AP2? I will if I have to though

This is what mine says, and I haven't submitted my letter of intent yet. That's why I thought everyone who got the email was accepted. At the bottom it says 'congratulations upon your acceptance into this selective program'. Is it different for everyone?

I’m not sure if everyone got the same thing I know it’s by rubric score rankings and they go down the list once ppl deny the spot for the intent deadline so I’m guessing after tomorrow more people will receive emails that are next on the list

I received this too BUT didn’t screenshot it (so disappointed in myself) and don’t remember the dates?
I'm not sure how hcc does their acceptance process ... from what I cant tell my application # was in the 700s and I think it's in the 1500s plus now .. and if I am correct... it seems like everyone who qualified are over 500+... and we all got the letter of intent accepted... I remember they said they will score us base off of grades/tests by a point system and from the top down they will rank us. and take the top-down approach... so basically they're just gathering as many people who qualified and pick from there... through the letter of intent ... so we're not really accepted until their ranking/selecting us from their pool ... they're confusing us by giving us orientation dates, even though they're not done w/ the final selection/acceptance. Also, most places/schools don't require bon/health insurance/etc until you're really accepted into the program ... I think they're trying to cover everything before they make that final decision. it's my opinion and I don't know for sure. hope someone from the previous semester can answer it more clearly. this waiting game is annoying
Did you receive a new email this week or last week I know they sent you one in January to submit the letter of intent?
I haven’t received any email since January when I submitted my application I got the letter of intent and a reminder about the castle branch uploadings
