hey all,
I have a friend who is a CNA wanting to go for her BSN. Does she have to have her RN/ADN first in order to do that or is it possible to do a program straight to the BSN?
If she does have to get her Rn first, can that be done online?
Thank yoU!

There are no 100% online prelicensure to BSN programs; all of them require in-person clinicals of some sort. One option might be WGU's prelicensure program, but it is available only in select states (see BSN with RN License | Online RN Degree | Online Nursing School) and also requires in-person clinicals.
in person clinical is fine, but the majority of coursework online if what she's looking for.
Then WGU's prelicensure program might be great for her, if she resides in an appropriate state. :) I have heard it is difficult to get into, but hey, they have to pick someone!

all RN programs are in class- after graduating with your ADN then you can apply to BSN/MSN and those can be online!
