Have any one receive a job with a felony as a nurse in the state of florida???

Hi,right now Im a student at Miami-dade college in Miami and Im almost done with my prerequisites...I was thinking about going to the nursing program at the medical campus...but My thing is I had got in a situation when I was a minor over 10years ago and was charge with 3 degree felony but I got it sealed do anyone have any successful stories that would like to share of being able to get approve from nursing school and was able to get a licenses from the BON in Florida and also was able to fined a job please help......Because this is really mind bothering???

I have 2 felony counts, and received my licensure from the state of California, and recently was licensed in Arkansas. These convictions dated back to 1984, and I have had no problems since then. I've been a nurse for almost 10 years now. Your goal can be reached. You can demonstrate this to the board by excelling in your nursing courses. FYI: Sexual abuse, battery, assault, the board will frown on. Check with your board. I wish the best for you..........Peace.

Hey jasmine give me a call. Im done with my pre req at mdc and started the nursing program at Barry university with your same issue.
