Have a graduate certificate in Healthcare Administration?

Just wondering if anyone has a graduate certificate in Healthcare Administration...

Where did you get it?

Why did you get it?

Was it worth the money?

How was the information applicable to your nursing practice?

Thanks in advance!

I believe I saw a couple of days ago where UCLA offers one. I was surprised that a degree program is not offered there, considering the high profile healthcare presence at the school. For that matter I only found one healthcare management degree program in all of the LA area, but a myriad of online programs from schools with unrecognizable names.

Actually, there is one at the University of North Dakota Distance Education that looks good. It is 4 classes and the course descriptions outline interesting topics. UND actually lets you use later use those credits toward a Masters of Public Administration with a Healthcare emphasis, if you so desire.

I took my Pharm and Developmental Psych from UND online, and I really liked their online course format.

Kind of crazy how many options there are!
