that after you said it, you wanted to disappear into thin air? i was asked a question today in class about hyperglycemia to which i said something to the effect of giving dexrose to treat it! wth was i thinking? at least i caught my spoof. i know better. tell me i'm not the only one who's done this:bugeyes:
It's at least once a week for me.... like the time I was reviewing orders the Dr had just written. She wrote "FSBS ac and hs with mild sliding scale" Yep you guessed it I asked "you don't want them before meals?" I was like oh please floor open up and take me!Then same day different Dr. asks me "how can you mix clonipine and alprazolam" (another nurse had made a med error) I answered "probably because they are right next to each other and they both start with C"
I'll bet she never asks me that again!!
