Have/were you accepted to more than one nursing school?

i'm always reading posts from students that are biting their nails waiting to get accepted into a nursing school but has anyone been accepted to more than one school and had to choose?:nurse:

what schools were you accepted to and which did you choose and why

I applied to one school, but two different campuses (90 minutes away from each other). I was accepted at both, and decided to go to the campus that's only a few minutes from home.

I applied to two different ADN programs in California and I was accepted to both. It is so hard to get into a program here, the fact that I was accepted by two schools was amazing! One was based on merit and the other was a lottery. I chose the lottery school; it has a great program, it is closer to my house, and it's where I completed all my pre-reqs. It was the school I wanted but I had no faith I would get in. They only take 44 students a year out of about 500+ names! I just started my second semester and I'm so thankful every day that I got in there.

It's just nice to hear that there are people getting accepted to more than one school which means that they were outstanding applicants. Congratulations!

Yes, I got accepted to 2 accelerated bsn programs. I chose Texas A&M over University of Texas - El Paso. It was an easy choice...TX A&M is located in a much safer town than El Paso. Also, TX A&M was a shorter program (12 months vs 15 months).
