Has National University ABSN Improved?

Published

Hi, I'm thinking about applying to NU in San Diego since it's probably one of the easiest schools for me to get in to on my list. I'd be doing the ABSN. I volunteer at PMC and I've met some NU grads who said they didn't have a problem getting a job after graduating. I've done a lot of research on this website and everything from '12 back seems to be negative about this school. I know their NCLEX rates have greatly improved but can anyone who just graduated in '14 or '13 let me know what their opinion is about the school now and if they would recommend it?

Thanks!

Hi,

I currently attend NU's BSN program but not the San Diego campus. For me personally, I'm really enjoying my program and am learning a lot. The time flies by, I already only have just under a year and a half left and it feels like I just started! I would definitely recommend my school to others. I hope that helps you. Sorry I can't give you more info specific to the San Diego campus but if you have any questions feel free to ask. Good luck!

Hi babeinboots, I will be applying to SD's NU BSN program next year. I am currently attending a university in NC, and finishing up my science pre-reqs now. Do you still like this program? I'm a little nervous about applying, being that I have also read nothing but negative reviews about this school. Can you please give me some insight into the program so far?
