Hi, I'm thinking about applying to NU in San Diego since it's probably one of the easiest schools for me to get in to on my list. I'd be doing the ABSN. I volunteer at PMC and I've met some NU grads who said they didn't have a problem getting a job after graduating. I've done a lot of research on this website and everything from '12 back seems to be negative about this school. I know their NCLEX rates have greatly improved but can anyone who just graduated in '14 or '13 let me know what their opinion is about the school now and if they would recommend it? Thanks!

So I haven't taken Chem/Calc/Algebra/Bio since freshman year of college (4 years ago) and junior year of high school... What would be the best way to go back and refresh all of what I learned for the TEAs? I'm buying the ATI package and practice tests but would it also be a good idea to study AP Chem and Bio test books as well or is that overkill? I'm just looking for the best way to review Chem and Algebra material without having to go back and take a refresher CC class... I already have the credits, don't really want to suffer through the hell of 6 months of classes. How are all of you who took prereqs years ago preparing for these sections? Thanks!

Hi! So I already have my BS, but I'm looking to get an accelerated BSN. Unfortunately I graduated with a 2.8 GPA but that was mainly due to lack of interest in my major and personal issues. Now I know without a doubt that I want to do nursing and humanitarian aid and preferably through the navy. I live near Coronado and am considering talking to a Naval Officer Recruiter but I want some info before I go in. 1) should I get my accelerated BSN before or after I sign up? what are the pros and cons of each? 2) how likely is it that the navy will allow me to do humanitarian aid work during my active duty/time in the navy? 3) will my already having a BS automatically allow me to in to OCS? or will I have to enlist first and then fight my way to OCS? 4) What are the programs that would allow me to get my BSN while in the navy? Any other information you think I might need before I go to talk to the recruiter would be really appreciated! Thanks! :)
