I'm looking to take the RSCI Aptitude test sometime this year but I'm finding it difficult to study for because there is not much information about the 2 day exam out there. I've been on the RCSI website and I'm using their material but it's so broad and doesn't give many details. For reference, I'm currently a nurse in the USA, I don't want to rely to heavily on NCLEX prep stuff because they warn against that.
Anyone in a similar position or has taken the exam and know what to expect?

I took the exam 4 yrs ago. It's far different from NCLEX. It's easier its more objective. It's a 150 questions I believe.

Thank you for your answer. Was the practical part of the exam okay? That’s the part I’m extremely nervous for. I get such bad anxiety at my job now when we do our yearly competencies and I’ve been doing this 7 years. I’m a little more worried because I’ve only done Nicu for 7 years, I have no adult experience.

Theory is easy. It's the same repetitive questions they ask .computer-based.
Practical exam is intimidating. But if prepared, can attend 14 stations with ease. Dressing and IV stations are time consuming . So need to practice way ahead.
