I'm very aware that Physio is a tough subject and I was wondering if anyone has taken it over the summer? Normally a semester is 16 weeks and I was wondering if taking it in 8 weeks would be too much?

I took A&P I this past summer semester and it was very difficult! I was an all A student and got my first B in that class. It was so rough because the information was so condensed. In my class we had two class sessions to go over all the the muscle system (anatomy, micro, and everything!) and then we had an exam over it all. Needless to say I did badly which crushed my dreams of all A's. But if you devote about 2 hours of studying every day you will do fine.

I took it in a 10 week summer session, and it was rough. If you can work it into spring or fall I would. It is hard to retain the information when it is that compressed. If you need to take it during summer to meet a deadline go for it, but realize you need a lot of time to study.

I'm going to the be dissenter and say that while I haven't taken physio yet, I really really like taking 8 week classes. It's condensed, but if you only take 1-2 classes at a time, you're able to really focus on learning those things and not worry about all your other classes. And I like feeling like I accomplished something faster and can check it off my list. 8 week classes are intense, but I love them!

I took A&P1 during a 10 week hybrid summer session and yes, it was alot tougher than I thought and I really didn't realize how much self teaching and memorizing (in such a short time) that it required. It did kick me into high gear though, you really have to fit that study time in whenever you can but it's totally doable if you can stay focused and on track.

I, being the glutton for punishment that I am, took A&P 2 over 5 weeks last summer. It was horrible!!!!! I did well, but my head was spinning the entire time. Definitely be prepared to study at least 2 hours a day. Given a re-do, I would stick with the full semester for this course simply for the purpose of better retention.
