  1. Oh that's not to bad then. And thank you then for the good luck. Good luck finding good transportation :) im so ready for orientation :)
  2. Oh no why do you say that haha? And studios are even rough in Littleton. But I haven't done too much research. and baker? Where is that located according to Arapahoe?
  3. Good thing you're already planning for your bsn. And yes im trying to find a roomie and move up close to the college. It is was too much to drive up there five times a week. And are you saying you're an hour and a half away? If so that's long for being in Denver! That's like my commute
  4. Are you located up there already? I'm currently located in the springs. And what other classes do u need to take then?
  5. YES! YES! YES! I know many CNAs hired as TECHS with no experience besides volunteering! I would just do it a couple times a month and honestly, get to know the clinical managers. Get your name out there. It WILL help your chances.
  6. no and yes. no because of long shifts. crazt patients and night shift. yes for the grateful patients, awesome coworkers and amazing experience. If youre going into nursing being a pct is so rewarding and is so full of experience!
  7. Thats pretty much the standard. when i worked in Assisted Living I had 16. In my hospital now I have from 9-34. (34 yup, its happened) so 13 is actually pretty good. but no matter what LTC is tough and any amount of patients is hard. IMO :)
  8. Same. well at least we know someone eh? honestly i cant wait but im terrified. plus i have to retake mat 103 and patho over the summer. but i dont mind honestly they were pretty cool classes.
  9. Woohoo congrats! Did you accept? And yes it was incredibly quick but I know at my information session Carmella said she'd have them out within 10 days. :)
  10. I was wondering if anyone else on here did!
  11. If I was you I'd try to get on a school with a waiting list. They will have a minimum GPA you need to meet but other than that you basically get on the list. The downside is waiting list can last around 3-4 years, at least in the Denver area. If you want it bad enough the wait for you will be tolerable.
  12. Well for anyone interested this is the order i took my test in along with my grades. I think it worked out pretty well. Reading - 98% Vocab- 96% Grammar - 86% (idk how i messed up on this but there were tricky ?'s) Math - 100% Biology - 96% Chemistry - 96% A&P-84% critical thinking and personalilty last. lol my cummulative score was a 92.29% I hope it is enough for my school. Thanks for your input!
  13. I've heard you can choose what order you do the HESI A2, english, math, biology. What is your advice if youve taken it before. I take it wednesday!
  14. I love Greys just for the entertainment of the storyline, not the medical accuracy at all But i just watched one where Karev was talking to one of the attendings and said heres your new patiet oh and by the way he peed himself (little boy) and I CLEANED IT ALL UP FOR YOU. Hahahahahahahahhahhahaha but no that would never happen. Heres the real world scenario.... Karev: Heres your new patient and by the way he peed himself but I called in the tech to change him, even though it wasnt the tech's patient and I have perfectly capable hands. :)
  15. does anybody know how the physics section is? My college requires it and I've never taken it!!!
