I took it online through the University of South Florida last summer. Never set foot on the campus.

I took two...regular patho and advanced patho, I never had to go to a class, loved both of them. I recommend mapping out your syllabus and make sure you stay on task or ahead a couple of weeks of your assignments and not get behind. Well worth it with my crazy life! I recommend it.

Hi Millie09,
Where did you take your online classes?
I took Intro to Patho from Weber State University (Utah) and Advanced Patho from University of Utah....I highly recommend both, both had great teachers and did the online courses really well.

Rush University has online advanced patho and advanced physiology. The spring quarter starts March 30.

IndecisiveRN, was the rush university online patho hard?
I didn't take it online, I am taking it in person. It is difficult in as much as it is a graduate level Advanced Pathophysiology, but it is not impossible. I prefer to take my sciences in person instead of online, but the same instructor teaches both formats.
Millie,
can you give me more information about the online patho you took through U. of Utah. I've been in contact with the school and am having a hard time find the class at the university.

Look into Umass. They have a summer '09 completely online Adv. Patho class. I just sent in my registration papers and will find out soon if I will get into the class. The pre-req. is having either a BSN or MSN, but they will only let you in the class if there's room after the UMASS grad students have spots. There's a video from the instructor on thier web-site that tells you exactly what to expect from the class. sounds really good. Hope this helps.

I took the UMass Boston adv patho and pharm classes.. Online classes really depend on how much effort you put into it. I would def recommend Umass though.
Glad to hear that you recommend the UMASS Adv. Patho Class, b/c I am taking it this summer. Thanks for your post.
